The genre is Deep House with a little touch of some tech sound with a groovy bass line. The last track on the Ep is a Remix he did for DeepTronik talented Due from Eastern Cape, Port St Johns.
The EP was named "Dark Days" because he feels like it's been so long in the dark in terms of music production, so it's about time those dark days to be over and to see the light. Also, another thing is that, when it was produced he was going through some life struggle, so the Ep is a reflection on what he went through throughout those years the inspiration comes from those difficult times.

Deep Root 7 started the whole Ep from Scratch. He did the whole production, mixing and mastering on all the tracks in the Ep basically Composed and engineered the whole project.
